Niagara is a goddess. Amun Ra ordered her mother, Anunet, to mate with an Ojibwa manitou to provide the Egyptian settlers in the new world with their own protective deity. In her home, she could cause tidal waves, drawing on the psychic energy she received from her worshippers. In this new world, where she has next to no worshippers, her powers are greatly lessened. To humans, she is Thor crossed with Wonder Woman; in her mind, she is a paraplegic, barely able to wiggle a finger to summon a nurse to change her diaper.
She wants worshippers. She NEEDS worshippers – something her mortal teammates may not understand.
